Schedule:

Ability to work nontraditional hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

• 60% — Assist Associate Head Cross Country Coach in evaluating and recruiting qualified student‑athletes for competing in the SEC and nationally, coordinating recruiting travel and visit itineraries.
• 25% — Assist in conducting and evaluating all practice sessions for training groups as assigned.
• 10% — Serve as a Track & Field staff meet director for all home meets. Assist with away meet requirements and fund‑raising events.
• 5% — Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to effectively communicate to student‑athletes, academic counselors, parents, and coaches.
• Ability to work independently on multiple assignments.
• Ability to organize and prepare for events and travel in advance.

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close and distance vision, and peripheral vision.
• Work environment noise level is usually moderate, escalating to high during practice and athletic competitions.
• Driving as needed to perform job duties.
