- Under the direction of the 4-H County Extension Agent, deliver 4-H positive youth development programming directly to youth. This includes:
- facilitating/teaching 4-H in-school club meetings;
- preparing students for 4-H Project Achievement;
- attending 4-H Summer Camp;
- designing and implementing community service projects; and
- assisting with other 4-H base programming.
- Support and provide leadership to the county 4-H Volunteer program: recruit, screen, train, and engage volunteers. The member may assist with coordinating the county volunteer registration database. Halt-time (part-time) members should recruit at least 5 new volunteers during their service. Percentage of time: 20
- Track and document data related to the Ameri Corps performance measures and complete monthly reports, supported by the Ameri Corps State Program Coordinator. This includes administering surveys to youth as well as data entry. Percentage of time: 15
- Attend local, district, and state program activities and events alongside 4-H County Extension Coordinator. Attend district and state-wide trainings, including the Ameri Corps New Service Year Orientation (October 6-7, 2026 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center) as well as additional face-to-face trainings and at least monthly webinars. Percentage of time: 10
