4-H Peach Co. Ameri Corps Participant, Full Time

Under the direction of the 4-H County Extension Agent, deliver 4-H positive youth development programming directly to youth. This includes: facilitating/teaching 4-H in-school club meetings; preparing students for 4-H Project Achievement; attending 4-H Summer Camp; designing and implementing community service projects; and assisting with other 4-H base programming. Members will assist the 4-H Agent with day-to-day activities involved with providing direct services to youth, such as planning and development of 4-H programming.

Members may provide transportation to youth.

Support and provide leadership to the county 4-H Volunteer program: recruit, screen, train, and engage volunteers. The member may assist with coordinating the county volunteer registration database. Full-time members should recruit at least 5 new volunteers during their service.

Track and document data related to the Ameri Corps Grant performance measures and complete monthly reports, supported by the Ameri Corps State Program Coordinator. This includes administering surveys to youth as well as data entry.

Attend local, district, and state program activities and events alongside 4-H County Extension Coordinator. Attend district and state-wide trainings, including the Ameri Corps New Service Year Orientation (October 6-7, 2026, at Rock Eagle 4-H Center) as well as additional face-to-face trainings and at least monthly webinars.

High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in program planning, delivery of youth development programs, and a basic knowledge of 4-H is preferred. Applicants should be service-minded. A valid driver's license is required. Must be a U.S. citizen with proof of citizenship.

The successful candidate will exhibit qualities of independent judgment and a passion for service as well as the ability to perform the tasks necessary in planning, developing, and directing educational programs directed erience working with youth is a plus.

Driving, light lifting, occasional work outdoors in adverse climate.
