Korean Program Coordinator

This position is responsible for coordinating logistics and implementing program itineraries and schedules for the Korean (GLAD) Program. This position provides services for current/future partners and visiting scholars for the program by ensuring logistical and settlement supports are provided, cultural and program orientation are translated, program schedules are met, guidelines are adhered to, and program goals are achieved. This position serves as the program contact and reports directly to the Program Director.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal skills in Korean and English Knowledgeable of US and Korean government and cultures.

Working knowledge of AI, Data Analysis, Digital Tools and Business Strategies Must be capable of driving a 12-passengerUGAvehicle

This position will travel nationally and internationally as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Programmatic Coordinate logistics and implement program itineraries and schedules for visiting scholars and the Korea (GLAD) Program, including lectures, seminars, workshops, site visits, English program, and cultural activities. (i.e. establish weekly schedules and contact local government officials and state agencies for meetings.)Provide necessary services for smooth settlement and needs of visiting scholars during their stay. (i.e. housing search, airport pick-ups, utility set up and move-in, providing interpretation, etc.)Accompany

visiting scholars or delegation members when needed to carry out visits or training programs in order to facilitate communication and program quality. Includes national and international travel.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Research and Data Collect program data and maintain documentation in support of program evaluation and client satisfaction.

Analyze program data, maintain program statistics, and provide evaluation report each semester.

Provide research/training support to visiting scholars including, but not limited to, data collection and analysis, reviewing quarterly research reports, and providing educational sessions and technical assistance with using AI, digital tools and business strategies.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Collaboration Assist with promoting the Korea (GLAD) Program in support of Program Director, in Georgia and in Korea.

Prepare and post promotional materials through multiple mediums and program websites.

Collaborate with other university departments and Korean partners in support of visiting scholars in the program.

Maintain a database of partnering universities, state and local contacts in support of the Korea (GLAD) Program, including alumni records.
