Continuation of this position is contingent upon available funding and needs that exist beyond this implementation. The successful applicant will be notified at least 90 days prior to the end of this position.

Position SummaryThe Office of Faculty Affairs, a unit within the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, provides support for faculty and oversight of faculty-related policies and procedures for the University of Georgia. The Faculty Affairs Assistant II supports the annual promotion and tenure (P&T) process, faculty hiring processes, and faculty life cycle transactions. This role coordinates faculty affairs processes and activities in collaboration with senior team members, including P&T preparation, faculty appointment actions, data management and review, and document tracking.
The position works across multiple faculty processes and systems to ensure accuracy, timely completion of actions, and compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and established deadlines.
