$131,911 – $142,056 salary package - includes base salary ($116,219 - $125,157), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the Centres of Excellence (CoE)

The TAFE NSW Centres of Excellence bring together the Construction Centre of Excellence, the Manufacturing Centres of Excellence, and the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) Digital, a National Centre of Excellence, to support industry-led innovation, workforce development and skills excellence across priority sectors.

Through partnerships with industry, government, training providers and higher education institutions, the Centres develop and deliver industry-aligned education, applied research, and innovative workforce solutions that respond to current and emerging skills needs. Leveraging contemporary learning environments, advanced technologies and strong stakeholder networks, the Centres help build the capabilities required for the jobs of today and the future.

About the role

As a Work Integration Program Specialist you will support the Construction Centre of Excellence based at Kingswood campus on a temporary fulltime basis until 30 July 2027.

Working across a diverse network of industry partners, employers and internal stakeholders, you will develop and deliver innovative work integration and alumni engagement initiatives that help students build job-ready skills and successfully transition into the workforce. This is a highly collaborative and relationship-focused role where your energy, creativity and passion for supporting others will help grow strong industry partnerships, foster vibrant student communities and deliver positive employment outcomes.

There may also be opportunities to travel regionally to strengthen industry connections, support customers and engage with our valued alumni network.

The successful candidate must have the willingness and ability to work some evenings and occasional Saturdays within your 35-hour week to play a key role in attending industry events and delivery.

Adaptable and innovative, you are comfortable analysing trends, identifying opportunities and developing practical solutions in a dynamic environment.

Most importantly, you are passionate about helping students achieve their career goals and making a genuine difference in their journey from education to employment.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Degree in relevant discipline OR equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the construction sector to inform program design, the labour market, current recruitment practices, and challenges facing graduates.
  • Demonstrated advanced facilitation skills and experience in actively engaging a wide range of audiences both in person and virtually.
  • Ability to travel to perform work outside normal working hours where required.
