Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nutrition, Kinesiology, Health Education, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Two or more years of professional experience in health education, nutrition programming, wellness promotion, or related student well-being initiatives preferred.
  • Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating health education or nutrition-focused programming in collegiate or community settings preferred.
Position Summary

The Nutrition Education Coordinator supports the University's health promotion, prevention, and well-being initiatives as part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary Health Promotion team between Dining Services and the University Health Center. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-informed nutrition education and wellness programming that contributes to a comprehensive prevention, early intervention, and student well-being strategy.

The Nutrition Education Coordinator collaborates with campus and community partners to advance a healthy and resilient campus culture through nutrition education, wellness coaching, outreach initiatives, and student engagement opportunities.
