The Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia (www.uga.edu/psychology) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, to begin Fall 2027.
Candidates should hold a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or a related field (e.g., organizational behavior, organizational science, or management) by the start of the appointment.
The successful candidate will contribute to the Program and Department’s teaching and mentoring needs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Area of research is open, though we are especially interested in candidates whose substantive or methodological expertise would extend the program’s strengths, and an ability to collaborate with current faculty would be seen as a positive.
The successful candidate will join a nationally prominent and productive research faculty and department that is committed to promoting the careers of junior faculty. Collaboration within the department and across the University is encouraged.
Competitive candidates will have an established and strong record of research commensurate with career stage with potential for external funding.
Candidates with a demonstrable ability to build partnerships with emerging or established research centers and units on campus (including the medical and nursing schools, the Institute for Artificial Intelligence, or other campus partners) will receive particular attention.
