Position Summary

The primary responsibilities of the College Advisor are to meet with assigned students and provide each student with accurate information about the student’s intended degree program, from major admission to graduation. A high level of independent work is expected in service to students. A College Advisor must maintain consistent contact with their students, maintain accurate student records and respond in a timely manner to questions from their students.

This position is also dedicated to a partnership with the UGA Exploratory Center during all freshman and transfer orientation sessions/advising requirements during summer and spring orientation dates.
