Requirements
Must have:- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or 4 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated expertise as a PLC Programmer, preferably in an industrial context
- Familiarity with PLC programming tools such as Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, Siemens
- Experience in designing and developing HMI systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within a team and work across various departments
- Knowledge of industrial processes, machinery, and control systems
- Willing to travel to project sites as required
- Must comply with all safety protocols and regulations
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, program, and resolve issues with PLC systems using multiple programming languages including Ladder Logic and Structured Text
- Design, enhance, and support HMI systems in conjunction with PLC systems
- Collaborate with automation engineers to create and implement control systems
- Troubleshoot and debug PLC and HMI software to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain and modify existing systems and provide post-deployment support
- Interpret and understand control system and HMI specifications
- Ensure automated systems meet industry safety standards
- Work with team members and departments on project development
- Document and track PLC and HMI program revisions and updates
- Train and support technical staff and operators on system functionality and troubleshooting procedures
