Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of industrial equipment and engineered systems within a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation using Solid Works, Revit, and other CAD/design software. The ideal candidate will have experience designing mechanical systems and industrial equipment, as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and product development.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop industrial equipment and mechanical systems using 3D modeling software
  • Create detailed models, assemblies, layouts, and fabrication drawings using Solid Works and Revit
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams throughout the design process
  • Review specifications, project requirements, and customer needs to develop effective design solutions
  • Support prototype development, testing, and design modifications
  • Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and manufacturing standards
  • Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and revision control
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and design optimization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
  • Experience using Solid Works, Revit, and other CAD/design software
  • Background in designing industrial equipment, machinery, or engineered systems
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with in manufacturing, industrial, or fabrication environments
  • Familiarity with sheet metal, structural components, and mechanical assemblies
  • Experience supporting product development and project engineering activities
