Position Summary: The Engineering Assistant works closely with the Facilities Engineer for University Housing. The primary purpose is to assist in engineering projects, crisis management, and enforce university and departmental policies.

• Assist in engineering analysis, including reviewing data, performing calculations, drafting, and other engineering tasks.
• Conduct research into solutions for specific engineering challenges within the department and report findings both orally and in writing.
• Assist in producing reports outlining project progress or recommendations.
• Develop and assist in presentations for engineering projects.
• Assist in maintaining documentation of work accomplished.

• Accepted into the College of Engineering.
• Be in good standing as defined by the University.
• May not exceed 20 hours of work per week, except when classes are not in session.

• Driving required.
• Position involves direct interaction or care of individuals under 18 or direct patient care.
• Position requires security access.
