Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer / Industrial Systems Sales Engineer to develop and expand business throughout the Southeast and Gulf Coast regions (Texas to Florida). This position is responsible for identifying customer needs, designing customized material handling and processing solutions, and driving sales of industrial equipment systems.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with consultative sales skills to develop engineered solutions involving augers, screw conveyors, material handling systems, compaction equipment, and related industrial machinery. The Sales Engineer will work directly with customers, engineering teams, and operations personnel to develop proposals, provide technical support, and manage projects from concept through implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Evaluate customer operations and recommend engineered equipment solutions.
- Design and develop custom material handling and processing systems.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical presentations.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure project success.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customers and generate sales.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through project completion.
