Athens, Georgia Compensation: $90,000 to $140,000 per year

This mid-size engineering firm is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer for site design work on municipal, commercial, and industrial projects. This role uses AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare engineering and design documents and construction documents, with potential for a team leadership path.

Schedule:

Full time, on site.

Compensation: $90,000 to $140,000 per year.

What You'll Do:
This Senior Civil Engineer will use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to prepare engineering and design documents, providing CAD support for design staff as needed. This role covers design and construction document preparation for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects, including site design, utility design, grading and drainage, stormwater design, utility coordination, and erosion and sediment control. This position may also grow into a team leadership role.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 4+ years of experience
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience or interest in a team leadership capacity
• Experience across municipal, commercial, and industrial project types
