Job Description

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Space Planner/ Facilities Designer to support facility documentation, space planning, and layout management across office, production, and site environments. This role will be responsible for updating and maintaining accurate AutoCAD drawings, performing on-site field verification, and developing future-state layouts that support operational and workplace initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong AutoCAD expertise with hands‑on facility measurement and documentation experience. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure facility drawings accurately reflect existing conditions, production floor configurations, office layouts, and exterior site features. You will also play a key role in maintaining emergency evacuation maps, supporting space optimization efforts, and delivering high-quality, standards-compliant CAD documentation.

• Update and maintain AutoCAD facility layouts for office areas, cubicles, production floors, and exterior site plans, ensuring all drawings accurately reflect current conditions.
• Conduct on-site field verification and measurements to validate floor plans, equipment locations, workstations, parking lots, walkways, and facility infrastructure.
• Develop detailed future-state space planning layouts for cubicle reconfigurations, office modifications, and facility optimization projects.
• Update and produce emergency evacuation maps, including routes, safety equipment locations, assembly points, and print-ready PDFs.
• Ensure CAD drawings adhere to established standards, with clean, editable files, proper layering, annotations, and accurate as-built documentation.

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Experience with facility and industrial layout CAD work
• Experience with space planning, facility layouts, as-built documentation, and field verification
• Background supporting manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, corporate offices, or production environments
• Comfortable performing site walks, measurements, and drawing updates from field-collected data
