Parking Compliance Monitor
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the enforcement of parking regulations and operational policies in campus lots and structures.
Minimum QualificationsRequires at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Customer Service Skills.
- Organizational Skills.
- Work in adverse climates.
- Interact pleasantly with disgruntled customers.
- Driving as needed to perform job related duties.
40‑hour work week. Normal schedule Monday through Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm. Ability to work weekends for special events as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities- Issuing Citations. (40% of time)
- Towing/Booting for parking violations. (40%)
- Preparing daily reports. (20%)
- Provide information to faculty, staff, employees, students, and visitors regarding parking complaints, suggestions, concerns, directions, policies, or other campus‑related issues. (20%)
- Direct traffic in and around parking structures to ensure safe and orderly ingress and egress. (20%)
- Provide reserved accommodations for special events, special guests, or scheduled football games or other athletic events. (20%)
- Provide back‑up and support for co‑workers in the event of a special event, employee absences, or any circumstances requiring maintenance of orderly operation. (20%)
- Perform periodic assistance in cleaning surface lots and associated vehicles and equipment during slow periods. (20%)
- Provide security by patrolling all levels of the facility or all areas of the parking lot for unauthorized parkers, litter, suspicious persons, or illegal activities. (20%)
Driving is a responsibility of this position and is required.
