Hours:

Part-time, 20 hours per week.

Location:

Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning & Execution
    • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
    • Develop event timelines, project plans, and detailed run‑of‑show documents.
    • Coordinate venue selection, logistics, catering, audiovisual needs, transportation, and accommodations.
    • Ensure all event deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
    • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, suppliers, and event partners.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and deliver successful outcomes.
    • Manage sponsor ships, exhibitor relationships, and event partnerships as applicable.
  • Budget Management
    • Develop and manage event budgets.
    • Track expenses, process invoices, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
    • Ensure events are delivered within approved financial parameters.
  • Marketing & Communications
    • Partner with marketing and communications teams to support event promotion and attendee engagement.
    • Coordinate invitations, registration processes, event materials, signage, and branded collateral.
    • Assist with post‑event communications and follow‑up activities.
  • Onsite Event Management
    • Serve as primary point of contact during events.
    • Coordinate event staff, vendors, and volunteers.
    • Troubleshoot issues and ensure a positive attendee experience.
    • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and venue regulations.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Measure event performance and ROI through attendee feedback, participation metrics, and business outcomes.
    • Conduct post‑event evaluations and provide recommendations for future improvements.
    • Maintain event records, reports, and budget summaries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–7+ years of event planning or event management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software.
  • Ability to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
