Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications2 or more years of professional accounting experience Preference to experience in higher education, Not-for-Profit or Foundation Experience creating, editing, and using Pivot Tables, and formulas in Excel Experience creating financial reports, and providing analysis on trends and variances
Experience navigating and reporting on large data sets Experience working with data analytical tools for presenting financial data Experience working withERPaccounting system

As part of the UGA Foundation's Financial Accounting and Reporting team, this position is responsible for financial reporting on subsets of data to enhance management's oversight of financial information. This position works with the UGA Foundation operating budget, and other unrestricted resources, including periodic reporting, projections, budget development and financial analysis for clear and concise reporting to management. Financial reports should clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to the reader(s).
This position provides interim assurance and reconciliation reports to management. This position will assist the Associate Director in managing two study-away properties, providing financial analysis to leadership for decision making. All job duties support the trust and treasury functions of the UGA Foundation.
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to analyze complex data. Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills. Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively and professionally with a variety of people. Self-starter, takes initiative, and can work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines. Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite. High standard of professionalism and adherence with confidentiality.
