Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in a related field of science and 2 years of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge, education, and expertise to illustrate proficiency in technical writing, with a minimum of five years of NEPA documentation experience preferred.
Position Summary: The position performs and completes daily NEPA reviews on DPW work orders, service orders, document reviews and internal NEPA projects; assists in preparation of NEPA documentation for federal projects and activities; provides environmental review and evaluation for federally funded construction projects and federal actions; and prepares NEPA documents for government review/approval. Coordinates environmental analysis for proposed actions including MILCON, SRM construction, real estate actions, contamination disclosure, training, and building disposals.
Reviews environmental real estate documentation, analyzes environmental plans and data, and supports Army-related actions. May support resilience projects in partnership with Fort Benning.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or
Competencies:
- Knowledge of NEPA concepts, regulations, and documentation to prepare, manage, review, and coordinate NEPA documents.
- Experience and knowledge of the NEPA public involvement process.
- Ability to develop Phase I Environmental Site Assessments/Environmental Conditions of Property (ECP) Reports.
- Knowledge of real estate principles and markets related to acquisition, management, or disposition of property.
- Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, permitting requirements, and compliance planning.
