Audiologist

Overview

Kaiser Permanente / The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is looking for a full-time Audiologist to join our team in Georgia. The audiologist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with hearing, balance, and related disorders. They will administer and interpret a variety of tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech.

This clinician evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with hearing, balance, and related disorders.
• Administer and interpret a variety of tests to determine type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech.
• Evaluate test results in relation to information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals.

• Doctorate in audiology and current audiology license or be eligible for licensure by time of employment.
• All experience levels will be considered.
• Preferred: experience with diagnostic evaluations with all age groups, vestibular assessment, hearing aid dispensing, and cochlear implant mapping.

This opening is for our Gwinnett Comprehensive Medical Center located in Duluth, GA.

Schedule:

Week is a mixture of 8- and 10-hour days. One week is 36 hours with a day off and one week is 44 hours. The 8-hour days are 7:30a–4p and the 10-hour days are 7:30a–6p. There is a half-hour lunch daily.
