• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable.
• Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

• No experience required (Required)
• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist (Preferred)
• Experience in performing EKGs (Preferred)
• Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting (Preferred)

• None Required

• Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency (Preferred)
