Medical Assistant

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Athens, GA, for a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will support daily clinical operations, including assisting healthcare professionals, managing patient care tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office. Responsibilities will also involve maintaining accurate medical records, utilizing appropriate medical terminology, and ensuring high-quality patient interactions.

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including supporting physicians and healthcare staff in clinical tasks
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and the ability to apply it effectively in a medical setting
• Experience in managing a Medical Office, including scheduling, administrative duties, and front desk operations
• Strong skills in Patient Care, with a focus on compassion and professionalism
• Ability to maintain and handle Medical Records accurately and confidentially
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Certification in Medical Assisting or a related healthcare field is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in a medical or clinical environment is beneficial
