- Provide benefits counseling, obtain and process documents to certify Ryan White eligibility for ADAP/HICP and other patient assistance programs.
- Assist clients with obtaining and processing healthcare plan applications during Open Enrollment.
- Maintain and monitor Care Ware, Data Rx, and other relevant programs daily, weekly, and monthly to track upcoming eligibility, expiration dates, and patient compliance.
- Coordinate, monitor, track, and evaluate insurance enrollment, premium payments, co‑pays, and changes in benefits with individuals, agencies, health insurance carriers, pharmacies, and the contracted Pharmacy Benefits Manager.
- Perform data entry and documentation in electronic health records and other databases.
- Provide timely follow‑up and communication with clients and staff on important deadlines for certification and recertification of eligibility documents.
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with case management team to obtain information and refer clients to other services, as appropriate.
High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of job‑related experience
OR
One (1) year of experience at the lower level Admin Assistant 1 (GST
050) or position equivalent
