ResponsibilitiesImplement and oversee management and maintenance of all aspects of the hospital's Safety and Physical Environment (PE) / Environment of Care (EOC) to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (NFPA, DOT, EPA), and other appropriate standards and regulations according to program design. Ensure that the physical environment is a safe, efficient workplace in compliance with all Federal, State, and local ordinances to include maintaining all required documentation for inspections.
QualificationsEducation
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field Preferred
- Technical or college courses Preferred
Work Experience
- 3 years of experience with accreditation and regulatory agency requirements of hospitals Required
- Experience in developing, implementing, managing, and monitoring a healthcare Safety and Physical Environment Program Required
