Work will be performed at a workstation in the DI Software Systems Support Coordinator’s Office with the main responsibility being uploading and reconciling imaging within the teaching hospital proprietary software. Uploading necessitates exceptional detail orientation and navigating internal data folders to ensure proper placement of images.

Duties/ResponsibilitiesAssist Diagnostic Imaging RIS/PACS & Diagnostic Imaging Systems Administrator with additional uploads, data entry, image tracking, and other duties within the scope of the position.

Position SummaryThe Diagnostic Imaging service will utilize the student assistant position to assist in uploading radiograph images into proprietary software. Radiologist will utilize the uploads in reading to consult Veterinary doctors throughout the 11 service areas in the veterinary teaching hospital.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies- Advanced experience in using windows v.10 and above
- Experience with uploading information from cd’s, website links, and other removable media
- Problem Solving: possess ability to determine with limited facts on eUnity, proper patient/client account. Skilled to navigate new or unfamiliar software platforms.
- Critical Thinking:
Ability to differentiate best method to upload various imaging files. Ability to analyze, evaluate, and reason logically based on evidence and criteria. Ask questions and draw conclusions.
