This position is responsible for responding to fire/medical emergency calls for protection of life and property, control and extinguishes fires, perform search and rescue, and provide advanced life support to sick/injured persons. Provide emergency medical care to sick or injured persons that may include providing basic cardiac life support, pediatric basic life support, basic trauma life support, pediatric care, and obstetrical care
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSApplicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license and must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Applicant must possess current State of Georgia EMT or Georgia Paramedic as outlined by the Georgia Department of Human Resources, Public Health Division, and a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification as approved by the Georgia Department of Human Resources, Public Health Division (EMS Division) and Firefighter Certification No felony convictions within the past 10 (ten) years and have good moral character.
Candidates may be subject to working various shifts determined by departmental needs.
Salary Range: $53,906 - $59,580 (DOE)
