Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* 2+ years of Human Resources or administrative experience, preferably in higher education or public sector.
* Experience with HR policies, employment law, and compliance requirements.
* Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience using Workday and similar HCM systems to manage HR processes
Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact between the University Human Resources Division (UHR) and its internal units. This role is responsible for supporting HR operations, ensuring compliance with university policies, and facilitating effective communication between UHR leadership and staff. The HR Coordinator will provide guidance on HR processes, assist with employee relations, and coordinate division-level HR activities to promote consistency, efficiency, and excellence in service delivery.
The position will also provide support for the University System of Georgia's Unified Enterprise Resource Planning (USG ERP) Project with a projected implementation date of summer 2028. At the conclusion of the project, this position will continue to support UHR.

* Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee transitions.
* Coordinate and execute recruitment and hiring activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, and interview scheduling.
