In this role, you will partner closely with the factory business team to ensure all IT systems and capabilities operate efficiently and reliably in support of day‑to‑day manufacturing activities. You will monitor and coordinate with support organizations while working directly with business stakeholders to identify and implement digital and technology solutions that address operational challenges. This position plays a key part in enabling factory and supply‑chain processes by ensuring the right digital tools, data, and systems are in place.
You will collaborate with business partners to understand their needs, define problems, and deliver meaningful, practical digital solutions that improve factory performance and overall operational effectiveness.
- Lead Operational integration for innovation and transformation based on business needs
- Partner with operations site leaders and global DT teams to embed digital solutions into core processes, supporting productivity, quality, and safety objectives.
- Get knowledge of Carrier global solutions, including JDE ERP and supply chain solutions.
- Have knowledge of Industry innovated solutions.
- Build / Support business cases.
- Drive adoption, training, and cultural change to embed digital practices across the plant.
- Develop and empower SME’s for critical site applications.
- Manage Digital Programs and projects
- Validate alignment with site objectives and global and CST DT priorities.
- Build a business case including benefits, costs, and resource requirements.
- Review with the governance board and global DT team for approval.
- Integrate the approved project into the site digital roadmap.
- Coordinate and execute the site’s digital macro plan and project portfolio.
- Ensure timely delivery and measurable impact.
- Monitor programs / projects financials.
- Maintain application portfolio with LeanIX tool.
- Assess system lifecycle and plan upgrades or replacements in alignment with global DT strategy.
- Manage the day‑to‑day DT operational responsibilities (sustaining) to ensure the factory operations.
- Oversee application support aligned with factory operations.
- Monitor third‑party vendors SLAs to ensure systems & infrastructure reliability and accelerate performance gaps.
- Monitor continuous improvement.
- Monitor Annual Physical Inventories DT Support activities.
- Knowledgeable in general IT infrastructure including Network, Active Directory, Sharepoint, Windows.
- Monitor Hardware & Infrastructure Activities
- Oversee requirements gathering, installation, purchasing, preventive maintenance, and disposal of shopfloor and office equipment (PCs, printers, scanners, network devices).
- Act as main point of contact for IT Severity 1 incidents providing local coordination and execution to ensure business continuity.
- Escalating a P1 Incident.
- Classify impact (local vs. global) and urgency.
- Engage IT site support; if unresolved, escalation to corporate IT or global DT operations.
- Document incident details, impact, and work with MIM team for actions for future reference.
- Monitor DT Financials and DT Reporting
- Manage DT purchasing and renewals of site specific software.
- Establish DT budget, Monitor DT actuals & forecasts on monthly basis.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of IT experience in a factory/operations environment.
- Or
- High School Diploma/ GED with 10+ years of IT experience in a factory/operations environment.
- 3+ years of experience managing IT projects that involve resources from different functional organizations.
