OverviewWe are looking for a talented Principal Technical Engineer – Identity & Access Management to join our Systems/Information Technology team in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities / Key Impact Areas- Drive strategic cybersecurity integration: embed cybersecurity controls into enterprise systems, align security with business goals, and reduce risk across the organization.
- Innovate through engineering and research: conduct system engineering and research, develop forward‑thinking solutions that enhance cybersecurity posture, and support evolving business needs.
- Design secure technology architectures: design hardware, operating systems, and applications to meet cybersecurity requirements from the ground up.
- Strengthen enterprise resilience via penetration testing: oversee authorized testing, identify vulnerabilities proactively, and fortify defenses.
- Optimize financial and resource management: contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and procurement to enable efficient use of resources.
- Lead and develop high‑performing teams: manage employees and contractors, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support career growth and performance excellence: mentor, coach, and manage performance to empower team members professionally.
- Build strategic relationships for business value: apply business relationship management practices, cultivate stakeholder partnerships, and drive technology‑enabled outcomes.
- Build and lead a strong Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) program.
- Design and implement IGA processes: access reviews, compliance reporting, access control, role‑based access control, and related capabilities.
- Integrate IGA systems with in‑house, third‑party, and SaaS applications.
- Develop, test, implement, and document IGA solutions to meet program requirements.
- Translate high‑level requirements into detailed technical designs and lead design sessions.
- Prepare documentation to support ongoing IGA operations, maintenance, and problem resolution.
- Extensive, hands‑on experience building and implementing IGA solutions with products such as Saviynt, SailPoint Identity
IQ, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, or Oracle Access Governance/OIM. - Strong development experience in core IGA capabilities.
- Experience preparing product documentation, test plans, user guides, etc.
- Deep knowledge of agile processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of access management products (MS Entra/Okta/Ping, etc.) and processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, Azure, or AWS).
- Knowledge of privileged access management products (Cyber Ark, Delinea, etc.) and processes.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory concepts.
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- CISSP or similar certification preferred.
- Position may require licensing for export controls or sanctions compliance.
- 5‑7 years of cybersecurity work experience required.
- 2 years of experience with cloud technology and concepts preferred.
Salary range is a good faith estimate and will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience.
