Director, Data Governance

This executive role leads the organization’s enterprise data governance efforts, ensuring data is accurate, secure, and strategically leveraged. The role involves setting governance policies and frameworks, aligning data initiatives with business objectives, and fostering a culture of accountability and high data quality across the organization. The position collaborates with leadership, technology teams, and operational stakeholders to integrate governance practices into digital and business strategies.

• Develop and implement enterprise data governance strategy aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Lead data governance activities, including policy creation, data stewardship, and maintenance of information management frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to embed governance into analytics, compliance, and technology initiatives.
• Ensure enterprise data quality, integrity, and accessibility through measurable standards and performance metrics.
• Guide data architecture and technology initiatives, including data integration, modernization, and interoperability.
• Act as the executive liaison for compliance and regulatory matters related to data management.
• Promote a culture of data accountability and stewardship, mentoring leaders and teams.
• Participate in committees, projects, and cross-functional initiatives to support organizational objectives.
• Continuously develop expertise in data governance, analytics, and related domains to improve practices and outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or seven years’ experience in data governance, information management, analytics, or technology leadership (including at least three years in a managerial role).
• Experience in regulated or healthcare environments is preferred.
