Role Description /
Duties Include:
Leverage software tools to transform data into useful insights that help business decisions using BI tools to access/analyze complex data sets and present analytical findings in advanced & complex reports and dashboards. Designing and implementing applications for collection of data and integration solutions for diverse data sets to derive meaningful insight from them. Convert designs and specs into deliverables using various frameworks and BI tools such as Microsoft BI and SQL scripting.
Understand complex data architecture including enterprise data warehouse and ERP systems. Develop ad-hoc queries, views, and stored procedures against large relational databases to deliver key analytical reports to management. Advanced SQL skills including data blending, manipulation, and cleansing. Modifying existing reports and dashboards as per business requirements. Understand the business scenarios and requirements from the stakeholders and end users which include top-level Managers, VPs, and Owners.
Extract information from the database system and use a data analysis tool such as Power BI or Tableau to leverage the ability to transform and model the data. Implement the optimized data into reports and visuals to create charts and graphs to help the end user make an informed decision. Managing the company’s ERP system (Datatex) to ensure the correct data is flowing through CAMS and NOW.
Provide decision-making insights to the management using Microsoft Power BI by creating Interactive Reports and Visualizations. Implement new ERP-related projects on the shop floor and train each employee in its accordance. Utilize iNet Crystal Reporting.
- Degree in computer-related field. Master’s degree with 2 yrs OR bachelor’s degree with 5 yrs of work experience as a BI Developer.
- Position requires subject matter expertise in Database Management System Design & Data Modeling;
Data Structure & Algorithms;
Java Programming;
Software Project Management;
User Experience Design; & Cryptography & Security. Technical skills in Oracle & My SQL DB; BI Tools (DAX, Power BI Service); iNet Crystal Reports;
Advanced SQL; BI & SQL Scripting; ability to manage company’s ERP Systems (Datatex) and effectively communicate with team members
- Hours:
M-F 40 hrs/wk. 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. - Salary: $135,100 per year
