Compensation
Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on years of experience, education, and skill set.
Qualifications- 5 years of work experience in installation, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco networking equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or four (4) years of relevant work experience if degree is not held.
- Certifications – Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) preferred.
Responsible for helping to design, install, configure, maintain, and document network systems across the enterprise. This includes all local, wireless, wide area, and Internet network connections, associated software, and communication links. The role also involves troubleshooting complex network performance issues, analyzing network traffic, and providing capacity planning solutions. Coordination with Internet Service Providers to install and configure new connections. Use of SNMP network management software and other diagnostic tools to ensure reliable network operation.
Prioritization and resolution of trouble tickets, management of IP address allocation and tracking, design and implementation of network growth plans for global TCP/IP Internet networks, bandwidth allocation based on projected usage, and recommendations of network hardware, software, and connectivity to support traffic growth and load balancing with redundancy plans using dynamic routing.
