The Course Evaluation Coordinator will join a dynamic, collaborative team of analysts, data scientists, and data warehouse professionals supporting decision‑making and business process improvement at the University of Georgia through advanced reporting, data visualization, and analytics. The Course Evaluation Coordinator will develop expertise in the university’s central course evaluation system and lead recurring reporting efforts each academic term. The position will also support Office of Instruction initiatives through dashboard development and report maintenance.
This position requires strong critical thinking and analytical problem‑solving skills, along with the ability to interpret, use, and communicate data effectively to a variety of audiences. The Course Evaluation Coordinator will practice responsible data stewardship in accordance with UGA’s data governance framework and contribute to the Office of Institutional Research’s data literacy efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
- Master’s degree preferred
- Significant experience in a higher education environment
- Previous assessment or evaluation experience
- Working knowledge of one or more business data domains common to higher education
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI
- Experience with SQL or other data query languages
- Strong critical thinking and analytic reasoning skills
- Aptitude for understanding, using, and explaining data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workflow of simultaneous projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Coordinate recurring reporting processes for the university’s central course evaluation system
- Prepare, compile, validate, and distribute course evaluation dashboards and reports each academic term
- Collaborate closely with the Registrar’s Office and other campus partners to support course evaluation operations
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine reports, dashboards, and processes on an ongoing basis
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of course evaluation data and reporting outputs
- Create, update, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports supporting Office of Instruction and institutional initiatives
- Support ongoing reporting needs by validating data, troubleshooting issues, and documenting processes
- Research emerging trends and best practices related to course evaluations, assessment, and higher education reporting
- Support institutional efforts to promote data literacy and informed decision‑making across campus
- Collaborate with campus stakeholders to interpret findings and communicate insights effectively
- Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support additional Office of Institutional Research priorities and projects as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Office of Institutional Research mission
