Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
Position Summary:Serve as the primary on-site engineer for UGA Athletics originated broadcasts, SEC Network broadcasts, and video board shows. Responsible for the care, maintenance, and use of the Athletic Association’s Control Rooms at Sanford Stadium and remote broadcast locations, while ensuring proper use of all video equipment, and the video infrastructure connecting the various athletic venues.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/orCompetencies:
Broadcast experience, including but not limited to the operation of the following: HD Cameras, HD Switchers, IP Based Intercom, Audio and Video Routers, Fiber optic transmissions. Familiarization with the following equipment:
Ross production switchers, Sony Cameras, Evertz routing, Telecast and Evertz fiber converters, Evertz replay, Riedel intercom, Ross CG, Evertz MIP. Some knowledge of the engineering requirements for live sports events.
Stand; walk; use hands and reach with arms. Sit and talk or hear. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and assist student athletes during weight training. Close and distance vision, and peripheral vision.
