What This Role Is - Divisional Head of Supply Chain, Americas
This is an exciting opportunity to join Apollo Tires (US) Inc., a globally recognised tyre manufacturer committed to innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
Reporting to the senior Supply Chain leadership team, you will lead end-to-end supply chain operations across North America and LATAM, driving service excellence, inventory optimisation, forecasting performance, and cost efficiency. You will play a critical role in ensuring the organisation continues to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting key business growth initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, lead supply chain transformation programmes, and work closely with commercial, finance, IT, logistics, and customer service teams. It is ideally suited to a commercially minded supply chain professional who combines strategic leadership with a hands-on approach to operational execution.
What Your Responsibilities Are Supply Chain Leadership & Performance- Lead end-to-end supply chain performance across North America and LATAM.
- Drive improvements in customer service levels, including OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance and product availability.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimise inventory management, forecasting, and supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators across service, inventory, planning, and logistics.
- Ensure supply chain operations support business growth objectives while maintaining operational excellence.
- Oversee inventory optimisation initiatives, balancing customer service, working capital, and stock availability.
- Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and demand planning processes.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure effective sales forecasting and inventory planning.
- Reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory through proactive planning and inventory management processes.
- Support the ongoing development of S&OP and integrated planning capabilities.
- Lead logistics and distribution activities to ensure cost-effective and reliable service delivery.
- Oversee order management processes, including backorder management, exception resolution, and customer fulfilment activities.
- Support continuous improvements in transportation and warehousing performance.
- Ensure operational processes align with business requirements and customer expectations.
- Act as a key escalation point for complex supply chain and customer service issues.
- Play a key leadership role in major supply chain transformation initiatives, including ERP and planning system implementations.
- Partner with IT, project teams, and business stakeholders to deliver successful change programmes.
- Support process standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive adoption of best practices across planning, logistics, customer service, and supply chain operations.
- Help build future-ready supply chain capabilities that support long-term business growth.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing supply chain team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong partnerships with Commercial, Finance, Customer Service, IT, and external logistics providers.
- Facilitate regular business reviews and performance discussions with key stakeholders.
- Support organisational change through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- 10+ years of progressive experience within supply chain, logistics, operations, planning, or customer fulfilment functions.
- Experience leading supply chain performance across multiple functions, including planning, inventory, logistics, and customer service.
- Demonstrated success driving operational improvements and business performance.
- Experience supporting ERP, supply chain technology, or large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and distribution operations.
- Experience working within manufacturing, automotive, industrial, FMCG, consumer goods, or similarly complex supply chain environments is highly desirable.
- Strong end-to-end supply chain expertise.
