Overview

Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club. You are responsible for ensuring a well-kept facility and a positive first and last impression for members by keeping parking lots clean, restrooms clean, and floors clean. Maintain a positive attitude to ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply in specific circumstances.

Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including:

• Conducting safety sweeps
• Following proper forklift spotting procedures
• Handling and disposing of hazardous materials
• Following Company steel standard guidelines
• Correcting or reporting unsafe situations to Management

Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment. Responds to spills and disposes of cardboard, plastic, and trash per Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

• Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies
• Rotates and stores chemicals properly and places orders to replenish stock as needed

Works to ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary and ensuring a positive first and last impression.

• Operate floor scrubbers and dispose of waste per policy

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
