• Maintenance of ongoing research, including watering, fertilizing, pruning and cleaning plants; planting and propagating plants as needed; weeding potted plants; moving plant collections (50% of time).
• Routine greenhouse cleaning, including cleaning cooling tanks and systems; sweeping, washing floors, walls and benches; cleaning exterior walkways and storage areas (35% of time).
• Routine grounds maintenance around greenhouses, buildings, drives and beds; removal of leaves and debris (5% of time).
• Set up or preparation for events and programs, including stage setup for ceremonies and delivery of plants to CAES activities (5% of time).
• Maintenance of headhouse and greenhouse storage facilities; assisting with cleaning and organization of labs and storage; classroom or facility maintenance between classes or events (5% of time).

• Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience or Licensure:
  Enthusiasm and interest in plants; prior greenhouse and growth chamber training and education preferred.

  Works well independently; trustworthy; listens to direction and asks questions when clarification is needed; good communication.
