The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel is hiring motivated, dependable, and team-orientated individuals for jobs that advance UGA's mission of Public Service and Outreach. The Georgia Center, located on campus across from Stegeman Coliseum, is the campus hub for the development and administration of non-credit professional and continuing education courses as well as home of the only on-campus hotel.

40.0 hours per week, Sunday - Saturday. Flexible schedule required to cover 6:30am - 3pm; 9am-5:30pm; 11am-7:30pm; 2pm-10:30pm. Must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. The work schedule may change for football and special events.
May be required to work when the University is closed. May be required to work overtime as business demands.

Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications- Hotel cleaning or custodial experience
- Customer service/guest interaction experience
Clean and maintain good presentation of all the restrooms, lobbies, hallways and stairs of the Georgia Center plus other additional duties related to the cleaning of the offices. This work could involve unexpected duties such as custodial, linen services, and laundry tasks or public area duties in emergency situations or shortage of staff.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or CompetenciesKnowledgeable with use of cleaning products. Know how to use vacuum cleaner. Good attention to detail and presentation. Strong work ethic and good values and principles are desirable.
Physical DemandsPull, move, lift or roll at least 40 lbs., Work with the hands and reach above head. Bend at the waist, kneel, and crouch. Stand and walk for long periods of time.
