As a Global Program Manager, you will be working with and supporting the Sr. Director and the Global Program Director to ensure a successful long-term relationship with CWT’s Global clients. This requires a focus on optimizing the client value from its travel program, while ensuring targets are achieved for both client and CWT.
The position requires a strategic approach to the complexities of global programs, providing thought leadership, business planning, and the provision of high level contract and relationship management to the client. A key part of the role is the direction, management and coordination of the client countries bringing mutual benefit to both CWT and our clients.
Responsibilities- Responsible for regional alignment and execution of client’s regional travel program strategies.
- Ensures contract compliance and SLA achievement at a regional level.
- In consultation with your Global Program Director, develops and launches the clients regional Business Plan, ensuring consistency with the clients global program objectives and execution at a regional and National level.
- Works with designated TS (Operations) teams in the region to ensure optimal service delivery to clients travelers.
- Works with regional/local MIS to show trends in travel expenditure; consults with client on results of data analysis, trends, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Regularly communicates with the client regional lead and National Program Management teams, to ensure the smooth operation of your account on a regional and local level.
- Organizes and chairs partnership review meetings with client within the region.
- Works with the Global Program Director to evaluate all new CWT products and service enhancements, to determine their value to client and regional alignment; where appropriate implements them.
- Assists in the selection and implementation of technology solutions that enhance traveler experience and program efficiency.
- Is the key point of contact for the clients regional/global Travel Lead.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent business experience
- 5+ years of proven experience in sales or program management within a customer solution oriented environment
- Able to build and present a business plan to the client and internally
- Writing skills for customer and Senior Management facing documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, Power Point - Financial/analytical/strategic skills
- Negotiation and problem solving skills
- Consultative based approach, customer focused
- Basic Understanding of IT tools and processes and their impact on travel programs
