Site Leader- Augusta, GA

Job Summary

Oversee daily rail switching and industrial operations at an active customer facility as a full‑time Site Leader. Manage and motivate employees, ensure safe and efficient operations, maintain customer relationships, and provide operational excellence.

Support all shifts; schedule based on operational and customer needs. Nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on‑call duties may be required. Up to 10% travel required.

Competitive base salary plus bonus eligibility. Compensation based on experience and qualifications.

• Safety & Training: Maintain a safe work environment, enforce safety procedures, ensure required certifications and training records.
• Leadership Development: Lead, coach, develop employees; identify high‑potential employees; develop staffing plans; foster engagement.
• Operational Efficiency: Ensure operations meet customer expectations and contract obligations; manage payroll, fuel, equipment, and site costs; oversee purchase orders and preventive maintenance; monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Customer Service: Build and maintain strong customer relationships; serve as the primary contact for operational issues.
• Administrative: Manage timekeeping, performance evaluations, reporting, documentation; support hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Perform additional operational and leadership duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year supervisory experience in rail operations, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, or related field.
• Previous railroad experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, employee development, and communication skills.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, technical instructions, write reports and documentation, and analyze operational data.
• Reliable transportation; willing to travel up to 10%.
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Military experience is a plus.
