Material Handler (Repackaging) – Day shift is an entry-level, full-time, hourly position within the Terrapin Beer Company Packaging department where advancement in operations is expected. Under the direction of Packaging Department management, this position assists with daily repackaging operations. The incumbent reports directly to the Repackaging Shift Supervisor.

The hours for this position are 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday – Friday, and availability for each shift is required as a condition of employment.

Pay
: $15.50 per hour, depending on experience

• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies, including safe operation of equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment with general housekeeping and warehouse duties.
• Identify Emergency Stops on equipment within work areas.
• Assist Machine Operators in feeding repack materials into appropriate machinery.
• Monitor finished goods for mis-labeling and possible product mixing.
• Move finished products and materials from the Packaging Department and Production areas using hand trucks, pallets jacks, and powered industrial trucks.
• Load and unload bottling and canning raw materials and finished goods from conveyors.
• Stack finished goods onto pallets in a defined pattern in designated areas.
• Strap pallets of finished goods and raw materials in accordance with safety standards.
• Hand label bottles and packaged goods with date stamps.
• Utilize chemicals to clean machinery in adherence to safety standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution, or a fast-paced, process-oriented work setting. A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to frequently reach, twist, stoop, bend, crouch, stand, and walk for 8-hour shifts; able to lift 30 lbs.
• Willing to wear personal protective equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a comprehensive background check.
