**** As a Quality Auditor at Caterpillar, you will:
*** Perform quality inspection based on the check- list of inspection points/procedures
* Complete inspections using a checklist and tooling provided (static tools, dry leak testing, Cab electrical tests, templates, etc.)
* Perform overall quality inspection at quality gates or at pre-delivery inspection.
* Use lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35lbs
* Inspect products to ensure it meets the specifications
* Gather data from various tools and tooling systems and document quality issues into a computer system and flag defects for repair

* Basic Qualifications:

*** Manufacturing experience  Role requires overtime on a short notice to support business needs.

** Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
*** Willing and able to stand for prolonged periods
* Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
* Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
* Willing and able to pass eye exam for visual weld inspection
** Top candidates will also have:
*** Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
* Intermediate proficiency in SAP software
* Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience with inspection and product auditing processes
* Intermediate proficiency with measurement equipment and gages
* Heavy equipment machine assembly experience with tractors or excavators

** hourly position in Athens, GA. Entry wage is **$21.76/hour** (includes 8%-night shift premium). No relocation benefits are available.

Monday-Friday, 3 pm – 11:10 pm2nd Shift STTT Fabrications Line:
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2 am  Role requires overtime on a short notice to support business needs.

** Summary Pay Range:**$20.15 - $25.15
