Associate Technician, Maintenance

Under limited supervision supports maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifying/improving all aspects relative to good maintenance practices, equipment reliability and performance of electrical/mechanical systems such as high speed filling/packaging lines, fermentation, bioreactor, autoclaves, clean utilities, clean room HVAC, power plant/utilities, automation, freeze dryers, etc.

• Fulfill work order information in SAP on a timely basis and confirm status. Find basic information's (parts reference and availability, work instructions).
• Under limited supervision, performs basic trouble shooting of equipment/system events and contributes to basic Failure Analysis to determine root cause. Follows clear instructions.
• Assist in the realization of Preventative Maintenance plan.
• Assists, as required, outside contractors performing basic projects or supplementing work force.
• Contributes to cross-functional equipment basic improvement teams focusing on performance and reliability.
• Respond to basic maintenance emergencies.
• Under limited supervision, troubleshoot and implement basic corrective actions where equipment experiences performance issues.

• High School Diploma +2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry
• Associates Degree/Technical Diploma (relevant field of study) preferred
• Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements
• Basic level problem solving/troubleshooting
• Proficient verbal and written communication
• Basic Continuous Improvement

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
• Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
