Shipping/Receiving Lead
The Shipping/Receiving Lead is responsible for ensuring that comprehensive receiving inspection is performed on all delivered items to confirm they meet purchase order and industry requirements and for maintaining stable delivery and dispatch performance for goods issued to production and suppliers. The Lead employs industry best practices relative to inventory and shipping/receiving, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental compliance. Continuous improvement is expected to be real and visible as an ongoing practice.
As a Lead, this role is a working logistics specialist, responsible for additional administrative tasks, employee training and mentoring, and may fill in for short absences by the supervisor.

- Maintains schedule for deliveries to customers and sub‑tier suppliers
- Ensures that QMS process controls are followed through receiving, inventory control, and shipping processes
- Coordinates and initiates all internal shipments, including hazardous materials as required
- Maintains schedule for internal materials issued to manufacturing processes
- Maintains batch control and traceability of raw materials, hardware, and finished and semi‑finished goods
- Maintains accurate inventory control records; completes appropriate paperwork and data entry in the ERP system, in compliance with internal processes and quality procedures
- Maintains a clean and organized, safe work area; implements and ensures safe work practices are followed by team members; proactively identifies job hazards and collaborates with leadership to minimize hazards and ensure employee safety
- Operates forklift and other material‑handling equipment as required; forklift certification on‑site will be required
- Mentors and trains new employees; provides leadership and serves as resource and primary escalation point for others on the team
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Regular attendance on‑site at the work site is required
- An individual who is granted U.S. citizenship
- An individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (i.e., a "Green Card" holder)

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse role performing stocking and/or order picking or receiving inspection is required
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and accurately interpret dispatch lists and similar work instructions, and to verify counts with 100% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and with an MRP or Warehouse Management Operations system
- Experience packaging and crating product for international shipments; knowledge of export compliance and hazardous materials shipping/receiving
- Attention to detail and demonstration of accurate counting, measurement, and associated record‑keeping
- Professional written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Consistently legible handwriting (English)
