Machine Operator

Steves & Sons, a door manufacturing company since 1866, is seeking a Machine Operator to run the Full-House Machines. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties
• Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
• Effectively monitor and operate equipment and machinery for production
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
• Perform related duties and fulfill responsibilities as required
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management

• Knowledge of methods, equipment, and materials as they relate to the type of work being performed.
• Knowledge of machines in a manufacturing environment
• Team-oriented and self-directed

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position.
