Join Pratt & Whitney at our Columbus Engine Center, where precision meets purpose. As a Mechanic, you’ll play a critical role in the overhaul, repair, and assembly of advanced jet engines that power commercial and military aircraft around the world. Working in a hands‑on, team‑driven environment, you’ll apply your mechanical expertise to ensure engines are restored to peak performance, safety, and reliability.

Shift: Monday – Thursday 3:30 pm – 2:00 am.

Location:

US‑GA‑MIDLAND‑MPC, 8801/8987 Macon Rd, BLDG MPC, Macon, GA.

• Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data.
• Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to assemble, disassemble, and test a jet engine.
• Ensure all phases of assembly and disassembly as specified by work instructions, comply with required self‑inspection or peer inspection of critical processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

• Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience.
• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate
