Paint Technician; 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift

As a paint technician, you will operate powder coat, paint, or other equipment to apply industrial powder coat or paint on metals or products according to the specified work order and other duties as assigned. You must follow required safety procedures at all times. You may work in the areas of shot blast operator, powder painter, caulker, blow off operator, loader/unloader, masker/demasker and pre-inspector.

• Prior work experience
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to perform repetitive operations
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

• Experience in equipment paint processing
• Experience in top coat, prime coat and electrostatic paint
• Ability to read blueprints / engineering drawings

• Monday-Thursday 4 day/10-hour shift schedule
• Start time determined by role, ten-hour shift beginning at either 7 a.m., 8 a.m. or 11 a.m. (The 11 a.m. shift receives the 8%-night shift premium.)

• Monday-Thursday 4 day/10-hour shift schedule
• Start time determined by role, ten-hour shift beginning at either 3 p.m. or 4 p.m.

• Sunday-Friday 5 day/8-hour shift schedule
• Start time determined by role, eight-hour shift beginning at either 11 p.m., 12 a.m. or 3 a.m.

Role requires overtime as needed to support business needs

Caterpillar will provide a cash sign‑on bonus of $750, less applicable with holdings and taxes, to be paid as soon as administratively practical upon completion of your first day of employment.
