Wiring Technician. The Wiring Technicianwillfollow engineering drawings to install components onto relay panels,runandterminatewires according toPanelmatic
Inc.standards.
- Layout and assemble switch gear panels per electrical drawings, including drilling, tapping, and mounting devices on back pans and doors.
- Install electrical components such as DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays, nameplates, space heaters, and more.
- Cut, label, route, bundle, andterminatecontrol and power wiring according to schematics and company wiring standards.
- Torque lugs and hardware to specification and use proper hand and power tools (crimpers, strippers, torque tools, etc.).
- Perform in-process inspections and wire checks to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Assist with troubleshooting of wiring systems and correctmiswiresor installation issues.
- Follow work instructions and production standards whilemaintaininga clean, safe, and organized work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- High levelsof organizational and time management skills required
- High levelsof analytical, observational, and active listening skills required
- High levelsof reliabilityrequired
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbalrequired
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checkrequired
- Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
- Ability tostoopand bendrequired
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
- Excellent manual dexterity required
- Excellent color vision and eyesightrequired
- Alignment with company core valuesrequired
- Two or more years of experience as a wiring technician preferred
- Two or more years of experience in NEC and UL codes preferred
- Medical, dental, vision, HSA, term life, AD&D, STD, LTD
