- Athens, GA

Job Summary

We are hiring full-time, experienced Structural Fitters to join our team.

Essential Functions
  • Adhere to all safety procedures when working with power tools, forklifts, cranes, welders, cutting torches, and PPE.
  • Interpret blueprints accurately for layout and component positioning.
  • Mark layout lines precisely using measurement tools to ensure proper fit and tolerances.
  • Inspect welds and structures for defects, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Proficient in welding, flame and plasma cutting, grinding, and bending techniques.
Education and Experience
  • 3-5 years of structural fitting experience preferred.
  • Flux core welding experience preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Day shift typically from 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays and overtime possible.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and navigate construction sites safely.
  • Exposure to mechanical parts, heights, fumes, weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb stairs/ladders, bend, kneel, crawl, and reach regularly.
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
