Service Technician Macon, GA

Solenis is a leading global provider of water and hygiene solutions, offering a broad array of water treatment chemistries, process aids, functional additives, cleaners, disinfectants, and state-of-the-art monitoring, control and delivery systems.

Solenis is looking for a Service Technician to support sales and service in the Macon, GA area. The role involves conducting basic lab tests, maintenance and installation of equipment, chemical transfers, and process monitoring in paper and pulp mills.

• Conduct basic lab tests, maintenance and installation of equipment, chemical transfers, and process monitoring in paper and pulp mills.
• Keep detailed records of inventory, report results, and work safely.
• Perform routine testing and monitoring at the customer site, including data entry and contributing to service report preparation.
• Interface with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment.
• Manage product inventory at the customer, including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks.
• Adjust chemical feed levels to meet optimal performance based on routine testing and monitoring.
• Alert site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begin troubleshooting issues.
• Conduct expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts.
• Spec out, set up, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment.
• Work with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.
• Complete mechanical and electrical equipment repairs.

• Minimum 2 years of experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
• Chemical handling experience preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Position is primarily Monday-Friday, day shift, may include weekend overtime hours.

Expected compensation range: $58,030.00 – $85,107.00 plus discretionary bonuses.
